Muffle Furnace
- Muffle Furnace is a double walled chamber with the Outer wall made up of heavy thick mild steel sheet reinforced with angles.
- A swing type door with cam lock is opened for convenient to loading the samples in horizontal axis.
- The heating elements winded muffle is fixed at the centre of the Chamber.
- High density insulation wool is filled between the muffle and outer wall including the door walls to prevent the heat losses.
- It is operated up to 1000°C and controlled by digital PID temperature Controller with “K” type thermocouple.
- Control panel is fixed on the side wall, which contains Temperature controller, Buzzer, Main on/off, Timer, Indicating Lamps, Contactor and 220V AC operating Power Cable, etc.
- Heater 3000 watts/220V AC Single phase.
